The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and well-connected Japan Affiliate Marketing Manager to lead our growth efforts in the Japanese market. This is a startup role that requires a proactive, resourceful individual with hands-on experience in affiliate partnerships, player acquisition, localisation, and customer retention. You will be the key person to drive strategic marketing partnerships while shaping the local presence of our brand in Japan.
Preferred Candidate:
The ideal candidate is well-connected within the Japanese online gambling, crypto, or gaming community, with strong existing relationships with affiliates, streamers, influencers, and media partners. You have prior experience working in online casinos or sportsbooks, ideally within crypto-based platforms, and are comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal structure. A background in acquisition and retention marketing, customer service and VIP hosting is highly valued, as is the ability to localise campaigns and content for the Japanese market. Native-level Japanese proficiency is required, along with a good command of English for internal coordination.
What You’ll Do:
Affiliate Management: Build, recruit, and manage relationships with Japan-based affiliates, influencers, streamers, and marketing partners to drive qualified traffic and deposits.
Localised Campaigns: Develop and execute localised marketing campaigns and strategies tailored to the Japanese crypto gambling audience.
Performance Tracking: Oversee performance marketing KPIs, including FTDs (first-time deposits), CPA/CPL models, retention, and ROI.
Content Localisation: Coordinate with product and content teams for localisation of websites, promotions, and player communications.
Market Insights: Provide feedback on user preferences and market trends to help shape product features and offers.
Player Retention: Contribute to customer support, VIP management, or CRM campaigns as needed to retain and grow the player base.
Job Requirements:
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in affiliate marketing, influencer management, or growth marketing in the iGaming or crypto sectors.
Market Expertise: Proven track record of launching or scaling Japan market entry strategies.
Network Access: Strong network of active affiliates, Telegram groups, Discord channels, or streaming communities in Japan.
Crypto Knowledge: Working knowledge of crypto payment flows, iGaming bonuses, and regional regulations.
Startup Readiness: Ability to work across time zones in a remote, startup setting with minimal supervision.
Language Skills: Native Japanese speaker; English proficiency required.
